Tables & Chairs

We have a supply of folding tables (15 large, 16 medium and 8 small) that hirers are welcome to use. Trolleys are provided for moving tables.

Please Note: Hirers are responsible for setting up the hall and clearing up after use. Brooms, floor sweepers and mops are available in the cleaning cupboard in the foyer / lobby for hirers to use.

Large Folding Table

182 (length) x 61 (width) x 70 cm (height).

Large Round Tables & Tablecloths

The main hall has a supply of 12 large round foldable tables (plus a spare). These tables are more suitable for formal ‘sit down’ functions such as weddings and fund-raising events and comfortably seat 8 to 10 people. Approx. Diameter = 184 cm (6 feet), Height = 73 cm.

White tablecloths to fit the large round tables are available to hire at a cost of £5.00 each (to cover laundry costs).

The round tables, large rectangular tables & medium rectangular tables are stored in the table & chair store in the main hall (the light switch is in the main hall outside the cupboard). Small rectangular tables are stored in the table & chair cupboard in the small hall / meeting. Hirers are welcome to use the tables from either hall.

Please ensure that all tables are wiped clean and put away after use.

Chairs

Both halls have a supply of banquet style chairs (approx. 200 in total) that hirers are welcome to use.

Trolleys are provided for moving chairs which should be stacked in 6’s after use. Chair covers can be used for wedding receptions and formal functions but hirers need to supply their these. Examples can be seen on the Wedding Receptions & Formal Functions Gallery.

Please Note: Benenden Village Hall does not have any children’s high chairs for hirers to use.
