Recreation Field

The recreation field is ideal for sports and outdoor activities and has football goals.

Whilst local individuals and families are welcome to use the field, organised events, such as football matches or training sessions, and commercial activities will require the field to be hired. There are changing rooms at the hall, with toilets and showers, that can also be hired. Persons hiring the hall for children’s parties can use the field as part of their booking, but additional fees may apply if persons, or organisations, wish to use the field for parking or bouncy castles, etc.

Please not that fires are not permitted on the recreation field.

Children's Play Area

There is also a well-equipped and popular children’s play area, suitable for younger children, situated at the top of the recreation field. Whilst this is not managed by the hall, it is also an asset of Benenden Village Trust. It is not possible to exclusively hire the children’s play area but everyone is welcome to use it.
