Benenden Village Hall has a selection of entertainment equipment that can be hired as an additional package for use when hiring the main hall.
The main hall is equipped with a four-speaker sound system comprising of a CD player, cassette decks and audio input for use with mobile phones / devices, musical instruments and microphones.

There are 4 microphones that can be hired for use with the sound system in the main hall. These include the option for two of the microphones to be used as lapel or headset microphones.
Please notify the hall manager when booking if use of the microphones is required (setting up required).
The remote-controlled motorised rotating glitter ball (mounted on the lighting bar across the main hall) and spotlight create a classic disco effect for your event.
Disco Lights
There is a pair of portable mains-operated disco lights which can be used to flash independently or in time with music.

The main hall’s sound system incorporates a hearing loop.
A hearing loop (sometimes called an audio induction loop) is a special type of sound system for use by people with hearing aids. The hearing loop provides a magnetic, wireless signal that is picked up by the hearing aid when it is set to ‘T’ (Telecoil) setting.
