Hire Charges – Regular Hirers – Benenden Village Hall

To qualify for the regular bookings discount, hirers must book the hall at least once-a-month over a 6-month period or on 12 occasions during a 12-month period. As part of the agreement to offer discounted hire charges to regular hirers it is accepted that there may be occasions when the hall is unavailable and it may be necessary for bookings to be amended, moved or cancelled.

Hire Charges with Effect from 1st April 2024

Entire Venue (including changing rooms) £20.00 per hour, £200.00 per day

If your event needs extra space or is likely to be disturbed (or vice versa) by an event in the other hall, it is recommended that both halls are booked. The small hall / meeting room is often used for setting up a buffet and drinks at parties and can be linked to the main hall by a set of double doors. Hiring the entire venue also ensures exclusive use of the building / facilities including the well equipped kitchen and toilets. Hire of the entire venue is recommended for children's parties.
Main Hall only (including stage, kitchen, toilets, car park) £16.50 per hour

The large Main Hall contains the stage equipped with sound system and lighting. There is access to the communal kitchen from the main hall together with a serving hatch. There are glass doors facing a grassy area to the rear of the building. There are ample tables and chairs which hirers are welcome to use for their event at no extra charge.
Small Hall / Meeting Room only (including kitchen, toilets, car park) £13.00 per hour

The Small Hall / Meeting Room has windows facing the green at the front of the building and is ideal for meetings or small classes. There is access to the communal kitchen together with a serving hatch. There are ample tables and chairs which hirers are welcome to use for their event at no extra charge.

Changing Rooms

The two changing rooms with electric showers and adjacent toilets, are located in the corridor to the rear of the main hall stage. There is direct access onto either side of the stage from the changing room area. The changing rooms also have separate access for use by persons using the recreation field.

Use of the changing rooms is included with hire of the entire venue.

Payment / Deposits

Regular hirers are invoiced on a monthly basis for the previous month’s bookings. Invoices sent to regular hirers are required to be paid in full within one month of the invoice date.
