Below are other relevant documents you need to read and consider as part of the hall hire:
Regulations and Conditions of Hire of the Village Hall
End of Session Checklist for Hirers of the Hall
Health & Safety Rules for Hirers of the Hall
Please Note – the period booked must allow adequate time for preparation and clearing up. If hirers do not leave the hall by the agreed time, an additional charge may be made.
ALCOHOL AND ENTERTAINMENT
Depending on the nature of your event, you may need either:
- a Temporary Event Notice; or
- to use the Village Hall’s Premises Licence.
The Village Hall Administrator will advise you on this at the time of your booking or enquiry.
The Premises Licence may permit these activities during the hours of 9am to 11pm:
- Indoor Sporting Events
- Live Music
- Recorded Music
- Performances of Dance; and
- Sale and Supply of Alcohol
Where the nature of your event means the Premises Licence may not be used, or for licensable activities outside of the permitted hours (please note that no alcohol is to be served or sold after 11pm in any circumstances) you will require two things:
- the prior permission of the Village Hall Administrator; and
- a Temporary Event Notice.
You can give your Temporary Event Notice and make payment online by visiting Sevenoaks Alcohol and Entertainment. This notice must be submitted no less than 10 working days before the event. Further guidance can be found at Temporary Event Notice Guidance Notes.
